Nokia has launched their new
E series device, Nokia E6-00 in India. The new Nokia E6-00 is powered by 680 MHz processor and runs on new Symbian Anna Operating System.
The Nokia E6-00 features include a 2.4" responsive touchscreen display with 640X 360 pixels resolution, 8Megapixel Camera, HD video recording/playback, external memory support, QWERTY keyboard with 2 soft keys also.

Editorial Review:
Firstly, the phone has been equipped with a touch screen, which unlike, for example that of competitor Sony Ericsson Aspen is excellent quality. The screen surface is, for obvious reasons, not so great but the resolution is at full 640x480 pixels and pixels are located as close together as in the screen of iPhone 4. The result is a really sharp image that also works for browsing the full-size web pages.
The touch functionality is just as accurate as it needs to be to make navigation easy on such a small screen and the need for the large four-way controller on my phone has almost completely disappeared. The keyboard is also quite nice although I personally think that the numeric keypad is too small.
The cameras in the E-series models tend not to be a major hit and it is not in E6. On paper it looks good with 8 megapixels, dual led flash and the ability to shoot in HD quality but in practice still images usually both blurred and noisy. Compression of the images are also far too hard for reasonable results. The video quality is slightly better contrast.
Overall, the E6 a bit of a pleasant surprise, but the expectation was, on the other hand, very low. Build quality is as good as it could be nor discourages price. If you absolutely want a physical qwerty keyboard in a small format is E6 despite its shortcomings the absolute best choice on the market. Otherwise, you can find many more fun and more modern alternatives.
